Michael Diaz, CPA, serves as the Financial Controller at Advanced Markets Group since May 2023. Prior to this role, Michael was the VP of Finance at Unicon from May 2020 to May 2023, where responsibilities included leading a team and managing all financial operations. Michael also held the position of Controller at Paragon Metals, Inc., and has extensive experience as an Assistant Controller and Senior Accountant, focusing on financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP. Michael's early career includes significant audit experience at EY, beginning as an Audit Intern, progressing to Staff Auditor, and gaining diverse experience through internships at Deloitte and in fundraising. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
