Dr. Ulrich Jahnke has a diverse work experience in the field of additive manufacturing. Dr. Ulrich began their career in 2011 as a Research Assistant at the Direct Manufacturing Research Center (DMRC), where they worked until 2018. During this time, they advanced to the position of Senior Researcher and gained expertise in additive manufacturing. In 2016, Dr. Jahnke also joined the Universität Paderborn, where they served as a Senior Researcher at C.I.K. and Team Lead for Additive Manufacturing. Dr. Ulrich excelled in this role until 2018 when they transitioned to become a Co-Founder and CEO at Additive Marking GmbH. Dr. Jahnke's entrepreneurial spirit led him to this leadership position in 2018. Additionally, in 2019, they took on the role of Managing Director for Technology and Development at Krause DiMaTec GmbH, further expanding their knowledge and expertise in the additive manufacturing industry.

Dr. Ulrich Jahnke has a comprehensive education history. Dr. Ulrich began their academic journey in 2002 at bib International College, where they pursued a degree in Systemintegration and graduated as a Fachinformatiker in 2005. Following this, they furthered their studies at Paderborn University, specializing in Ingenieurinformatik, and completed their Dipl.-Ing. degree in 2011. Dr. Jahnke then delved deeper into their field by pursuing a Dr.-Ing. degree in Maschinenbau at Paderborn University, which they successfully obtained in 2019.
