Spencer Bailey has a diverse range of work experience. Spencer is currently working as the Sr. Director of Credit Risk at Addi since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Portfolio Management and Credit Product at Klar from March 2022 to March 2023.

Spencer has also held various roles at Capital One, including Divisional Model Risk Officer, Head of Customer Management Valuations Data Science Team, Head of Commercial Card Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Manager, Credit Card Valuations, and Risk Ops Analyst. Spencer was employed at Capital One from 2009 to 2022.

Before joining Capital One, Spencer worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the University of Michigan Solar Car Team from September 2005 to July 2008. Spencer also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, U.S. Navy in 2006, where they improved CAD software usability. Additionally, they worked as a Computer Science Intern at the same institution in 2004, contributing to the implementation of SGML & XSLT into Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals for the U.S. Marine Corps.

Spencer began their professional career as a Sales Associate at Target in June 2003 and worked there until June 2004.
