Jens Hachmeister is a seasoned executive with extensive experience at Deutsche Börse since June 2000, currently serving as Managing Director for Issuer Services & New Digital Markets and DLT, Crypto Assets, and New Market Structures. Hachmeister plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the company by leading initiatives in distributed ledger and blockchain technology. Previously, Hachmeister held various senior roles, including Chief of Staff to the CEO and Head of Human Resources, contributing to critical merger planning involving Deutsche Börse and NYSE Euronext. Additional roles include Chairman of the Board at LuxCSD and Board Member at Digital Asset. Hachmeister’s educational background includes a Graduate Degree in Economics and Business Administration from Bielefeld University and training as a bank clerk from Deutsche Bank AG.
