Marianne Munk Petersen has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. In 1996, they began their career as a Histology-Cytology Laboratory Technician at Frederiksberg Hospital, where they worked until October of the same year. Following this, they joined Amager og Hvidovre Hospital in November 1996, holding the same role until August 1997.

In September 1997, Marianne started working at LEO Pharma, initially as a Senior Technician. Marianne Munk held this position until August 2008 when they were promoted to the role of Principal Technician. Their tenure at LEO Pharma lasted until May 2023.

Finally, in May 2023, Marianne joined Adcendo as a Senior Laboratory Technician, where they are currently employed.

Marianne Munk Petersen completed a degree in Histology & Cytology Laboratory Technology (Bioanalytiker) from Aarhus Amtssygehus, Patologisk institut between 1993 and 1996. Marianne Munk also pursued further education at Valcon Management from 2010 to 2011, where they completed a degree in LEAN Project Management with a focus on LEAN in Pharma R&D.
