Patrick Carney

Patrick Carney has a strong background in digital marketing and strategy. Patrick has worked as an Adjunct Professor at John Carroll University, teaching graduate courses on digital marketing, social media marketing, and search engine optimization. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Digital Marketing and Strategy at the American Dairy Association North East. Patrick also worked as a Digital Content Manager at Temple Health – Temple University Health System, where they managed digital content. At Einstein Healthcare Network, they were a Web Manager, responsible for promoting the network's services through various digital marketing tactics. Patrick also worked as a Web Content Specialist at Johns Hopkins Medicine and as an Associate Web Producer, Writer, and Editor at Catholic Relief Services. Additionally, Patrick has teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida and worked as a Reporter for ESPN.com. Patrick started their career as a Web Producer for The Gainesville Sun and later as a Web Reporter and Online Producer for Philly.com.

Patrick Carney completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from Saint Joseph's University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Patrick then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Mass Communications at the University of Florida from 2008 to 2010. In 2016, Patrick obtained a Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing from Duke University.

Additionally, Patrick has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2016, they completed the Digital Marketing Foundations Trained Practitioner certification from Market Motive. That same year, they also obtained certifications in Content Marketing, Conversion Optimization Marketing, Display Advertising, Email Marketing, Mobile Marketing, and Search Engine Optimization from Market Motive. More recently, in 2022, Patrick completed the Managing and Motivating Talent certification from The Wharton School, and in 2023, they obtained the Artificial Intelligence for Communicators certification from Ragan Communications and PR Daily.
