Sowjanya Kanuri currently serves as Lead at ACT Grants since September 2022. Previously, Sowjanya held various roles at Girl Effect from December 2018 to August 2022, including Associate Director of Programmes, Senior Programme Manager, Programme Manager, and Product Manager. Prior experience includes positions at Unilever from May 2015 to November 2018, where titles included Trade Category Manager, Area Sales and Customer Manager, and Management Trainee. An initial stint as a Summer Analyst at Deutsche Bank in 2014 focused on identifying structured finance opportunities in the Indian and Korean markets. Sowjanya Kanuri's academic background includes a PGP from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and ongoing studies in Business Administration and Management through an exchange program at the University of Mannheim. Sowjanya earned a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
