Evangelia K. Mimidou, PhD, is a seasoned archaeologist currently serving as a Senior Archaeologist at the Acropolis Museum since August 2020, focusing on the study, evaluation, and digitization of prehistoric archaeological finds. Previous roles include Senior Archaeologist at the Archaeological Museum of Megara and lecturer positions at the Tourist’s Guide School of Athens and Hellenic Open University, where Evangelia instructed students on Classical Archaeology and Ancient Greek Theatre. With extensive experience in archaeological documentation, research, and education, Evangelia has also contributed to the restoration work of the Parthenon and engaged in editing scientific archaeological publications. Academic credentials include a PhD in Classical Archaeology and Ancient Greek Theatre, a Master’s degree in Classical Archaeology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology and History.
