Jorge Carlos is an experienced software engineer with a comprehensive background in both front-end and back-end development. Currently serving as Software Engineer 2 at Acorns since October 2019, Jorge has progressed from Software Engineer 1 and has demonstrated expertise in technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and GraphQL. Prior experience at Novvum Software Development involved significant contributions to application development and data analysis, alongside effective client communication. Additionally, Jorge played a key role in developing a marketplace for IoT applications at UC Irvine's Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences. An earlier position as a Consultation Agent at Geek Squad involved diagnosing and repairing software and hardware issues, enhancing technical communication skills. Jorge holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine, with foundational education at Orange Coast College.
