Dr. Amol Kamboj has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2007 with Kaiser Permanente, where they held roles as a Fellow in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Chief Resident in Pediatrics, and Resident in Categorical Pediatrics. In 2013, they moved to GMA Healthcare Providers, where they worked as an Allergist/Immunologist. In 2015, they joined Allergy Asthma and Sinus Center Centers of Silicon Valley in the same role. In 2017, they joined AstraZeneca as Medical Director of US Medical Affairs for Respiratory Biologics. In 2019, they joined Allakos Inc. as Executive Medical Director and Senior Medical Director, and also began working as a Volunteer Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco. Most recently, in 2022, they joined ACELYRIN, INC. as Senior Medical Director of Clinical Development.
Amol Kamboj, M.D. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Pomona College between 1998 and 2002. Amol then went on to pursue a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from The University of Toledo between 2003 and 2007. Amol also holds two Board Certifications from the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
