Andrea Ridgway, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of autism and developmental psychology. Andrea is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at AccessAbilities, Inc., starting in 2023. Previously, they held the same role at KGH Autism Services from 2019 to 2023 and at Acorn Health from 2018 to 2019.
Before their executive roles, Ridgway worked at Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST), where they held various positions such as Vice President Research And Development, Vice President, Clinical Services, Director of Clinical Services, Division Coordinator, and Program Supervisor from 2007 to 2017.
Andrea also has experience as an Adjunct Professor at California State University-Los Angeles in 2010 and as a Psychologist at the Developmental Neuropsychiatric Program- Outpatient Services, Southeast Louisiana Hospital from 2004 to 2007.
Additionally, Ridgway served as a Pre-doctoral Pediatric Psychology Intern at Marcus Institute from 2003 to 2004. In 2017, they started their own independent consulting practice, specializing in autism and developmental psychology.
Andrea Ridgway, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University. Andrea then went on to earn their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree and later their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Psychology from the same university. In addition to their academic degrees, they also hold several certifications including being a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral and being licensed as a Psychologist in California, Louisiana, and New Mexico.
