Calin Ionut Pop has a diverse work experience in various IT roles. Calin Ionut started their career as a Software Engineer at CTCE Piatra Neamt in 2004 and then moved on to work as a Network Administrator at Proton Auto in 2006. In 2007, they became a Database Administrator at Proton Auto and later transitioned to the role of IT Manager from 2009 to 2011. Calin Ionut then joined Emerson in 2011 as an IT Systems Administrator and worked there until 2014. Since 2014, Calin has been working at acces.eu, where they have held multiple roles including IT Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Lead, Information Security Officer, and currently serves as the Head of IT and Information Security.

Calin Ionut Pop attended the Technical University of Cluj Napoca from 2000 to 2005. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Inginerie mecatronică, robotică și automatizare.
