Rebeca Lemos González is a dedicated musician and educator currently serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and School Librarian at Louisiana State University since August 2021. As a Personnel Manager for the Acadiana Symphony and a Cellist with the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Rebeca also participates as a Teaching Artist for Kids' Orchestra and is the Lead Singer at Christ the King Catholic Church. Formerly an Alto Singer at University United Methodist Church LSU, Rebeca contributed as a CMS Voice & Cello Instructor at Southeastern Louisiana University and previously worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant in the Music Department. With performance experience as a Sub Cellist for the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra and as a Cellist at Universidad de Alicante, Rebeca's extensive educational background includes a Doctor of Arts in Music Performance from Louisiana State University and multiple degrees in music from various prestigious institutions.
