Evan Fein is an accomplished composer and educator with extensive experience in teaching and artistic leadership. Since 2008, Evan has been a member of the faculty at The Juilliard School, instructing students in ear training and composition across various age groups in both classroom and online settings. As a Trustee for Artistic Initiatives with the Oratorio Society of New York, Evan collaborates with the Music Director to shape programming and repertoire. Additionally, Evan serves as the Composer-in-Residence and Music Committee Chair at Opéra de Poche, creating one-act chamber operas with librettist Emily Anderson. Prior roles include teaching at Fordham University and serving as Composer-in-Residence for the Canton Symphony Orchestra. Evan holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts and a Master of Music in Composition from The Juilliard School, along with a Bachelor of Music in Composition from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
