Head Of Compliance Technology Platforms at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank

Luay Al-Nazer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in the technology and compliance fields. Starting in 2005 at Bank of Jordan as a Data Warehouse Programmer, they later worked at Arab Bank Group Regulatory Compliance as an AML Data and Technology Architect from 2006 to 2012. Luay then served as the AML/CFT Product Development Manager at EastNets - Company Profile from 2012 to 2013. Following this, Luay worked as a PMO Project Manager at Capital Bank of Jordan from 2014 to 2015. Luay then joined Emirates NBD as the Data and Advanced Analytics COE Project Manager from 2015 to 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in Compliance Technology. In 2021, Luay was employed at the Central Bank of The UAE as an AML/CFT Technology and MIS specialist. Most recently, they joined Coleman Research as a Consultant and Industry Expert in 2020 and currently holds the position of Head of Compliance Technology Platforms at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank.

Luay Al-Nazer's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jami'at Amman Al-Ahliyya, which they completed between 1998 and 2003. Prior to that, they obtained a High Secondary Certificate from Arabic School Tunisia in the Scientific Stream, from 1993 to 1998.

In 2020, Luay attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they completed an Executive Program in Artificial Intelligence and another in Machine Learning.

In terms of additional certifications, Luay has obtained several. In 2020, they completed the "Machine Learning in Business" certification from the MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as certifications in "Artificial Intelligence A-Zâ„¢: Learn How To Build An AI" and "Machine Learning A-Zâ„¢: Hands-On Python & R In Data Science" from SuperDataScience. In 2012, they earned the "Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)" certification from ISACA. Additionally, Luay holds two Microsoft certifications: "Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)" and "Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)," both of which they obtained in 2008.
