Jane Chege is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Wholesale Credit at Absa Bank Kenya since February 2020. With a career spanning over two decades, Jane previously held the same position at Barclays from January 2000 to January 2020, where additional roles included Head of Corporate Recoveries, Senior Manager Barclays Business Support, and several managerial positions focused on corporate recoveries and relationship management. Jane Chege has a Diploma in Customer Relationship Management from the Institute of Financial Services in the UK and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. Academic credentials also include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology and an ongoing Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management, both from the University of Nairobi.
