Javier Villasante is a Senior Procurement Specialist at Abertis, with extensive experience in procurement and strategic buying. Since January 2020, Javier has focused on optimizing Procurement units within Abertis’ Industrial Model by implementing change management and best practices. Prior to this role, Javier served as a Senior Strategic Buyer at Abertis Autopistas España, managing category spending for civil work and highway maintenance, and participating in a continuous process improvement program. Javier's career in procurement began as a Procurement Buyer with Serviabertis, coordinating purchasing across international Abertis Group companies. Javier holds a Master of Management in International Purchasing, a Bachelor in Market Research and Techniques, and a Bachelor in Economics, complemented by additional training from the Kaizen Institute and CVPVLA.
