Felicity Chung is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in genetic manipulation and CRISPR screening. Currently serving as a Research Scientist at AbCellera since June 2021, Felicity has held multiple roles including Associate Research Scientist and Research Assistant. Previous experience includes research assistant positions at the Dr. John and Anne Chong Laboratory for Functional Genomics, where Felicity worked on genome-wide CRISPR screens involving Sars-Cov-2, and at the Genome Editing Initiative Core at the University of Sydney, focusing on venom screening and Next Generation Sequencing analysis. Additional research experience includes roles at UNC School of Medicine involving pharmacological assays for lung diseases, and earlier work optimizing synthesis for light-harvesting polymers. Felicity holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a minor in Chinese from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and recently completed HMX Fundamentals in Immunology at Harvard Medical School.
