Charlotte Bygraves is a seasoned Laboratory Manager currently employed at Avantor within AstraZeneca’s Global R&D facility, the Discovery Centre in Cambridge, since August 2020. Charlotte has been instrumental in the operational management of laboratories, serving as a primary contact for scientists and suppliers, and championing sustainability initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as Project Coordinator and Laboratory Manager at AstraZeneca, where Charlotte managed various wet labs, focusing on safety protocols and operational efficiency. Charlotte also supervised laboratory operations at Microbiotica and held technical and research positions at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and Anglia Ruskin University. Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Anglia Ruskin University.
