Betty Hicks has extensive experience in procurement and purchasing, currently serving as the Director of Global Procurement at Abbott Molecular Inc. since April 2001. In this role, Betty has held various titles, including Director of Hardware/Telecom Category Procurement and Director of IT Purchasing, managing IT spending and collaborating with Global IS and divisional IT teams. Prior to Abbott, Betty was the Director of Direct Materials Purchasing at Universal Statuary & Crystal Glass and worked as a Marketing Manager at Lavaworld Int'l / Haggerty Enterprises. Educational credentials include a BA in Chemistry from Rutgers University, completed in 1997, and a high school diploma from West Leyden High School.
