Claire Casey currently serves as President of the AARP Foundation since January 2023. Previous roles include Global Head of Policy & Insights at Economist Impact from September 2021 to December 2022 and Global Managing Director of Public Policy at The Economist Intelligence Unit from August 2019 to September 2021. Claire Casey also held the position of Managing Director at Foreign Policy from August 2016 to July 2019 and at Garten Rothkopf from September 2005 to August 2016. Early career experience includes Assistant Program Officer at the International Republican Institute and Financial Analyst at Unilever Bestfoods. Claire Casey holds an MA in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College.
