John Furumo is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as a Flight Dynamics Systems Engineer at a.i. solutions, where development of flight dynamics ground systems for NASA Goddard's OSAM-1 mission is underway. Prior experience includes roles at AeroVironment, where management of documentation and structural testing for Mars Helicopter components took place, as well as at Aerojet Rocketdyne as a Component Product Engineer focused on RS-68 rocket engine systems. Earlier positions include Design Engineer II at Eaton, Composites Process Engineer at Space Exploration Technologies, and various engineering internships at NASA and SpaceX. John Furumo holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
