Ken Heinz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ken began their career at United Parcel Service as a Supervisor, where they focused on managing operations and improving efficiency. Ken then moved on to Kellogg's Snacks as a Distribution Center Manager before joining Hexcel as a Distribution and Packaging Manager, where they were responsible for optimizing packaging and shipping operations. Ken later joined HP, where they held various roles, including Managed Print Services Manager, Commodity Manager, and Procurement Manager, where they restructured and trained procurement personnel to support the company's needs. Ken then worked at Bridgepoint Education, firstly as an IT Procurement Manager and later as an AVP, Corporate Purchasing, where they achieved significant cost savings and improved student outcomes. After that, they worked as a Supply Chain Management Consultant at NantMedia, where they developed procurement and contracting best practices for the company. Most recently, they joined Dexcom as the Manager of Indirect Procurement. Ken is currently working as the Director of Procurement at 5.11 Tactical.
Ken Heinz holds a Bachelor's degree in Purchasing and Logistics Management (Supply Chain Operations) from Arizona State University.
