Elena Cernov is a Manager for Strategy in the Energy and Climate Practice at 3Degrees Group, Inc. since November 2022. Previously, Elena held various roles at Schneider Electric Sustainability Business from August 2016 to September 2022, including Senior Sustainability Consultant, focusing on corporate emissions reduction goals and energy reporting compliance, and Senior Sourcing Analyst specializing in market intelligence for energy supply in Romania, Greece, and Turkey. Elena's experience also includes coordinating programs and facilitating ecological education at NGO "EcoVisio" from 2012 to 2019, serving as an engineer at the State Hydrometeorological Service of Moldova in 2013, and volunteering with Ev. Schülerinnen und Schülerarbeit in Westf. (BK) e.V. from 2010 to 2011. Elena holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Central European University and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Ecology and Environmental Engineering from various institutions.
