Halina Myers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Halina worked as a Creative Director at 17 Sport since June 2020. Prior to that, they operated their own design business, Halina Myers Design, as a Freelance Designer & Sustainability Strategist since May 2019. Halina also worked at Studio Republic from February 2019 to May 2020, first as a Sustainability Lead, where they helped clients integrate sustainability into their brand and created engaging narratives, and later as a Designer, supporting purpose-driven enterprises and charities through inclusive design. Before that, they worked as a Graphic Designer at RMI Yacht Services Ltd from October 2017 to February 2018, as a Designer, Marketing & Events Manager at Olivia's La Cala from March 2016 to August 2016, and as an Intern at Time Out from February 2013 to May 2013, where they gained experience in fact-checking, writing, and assisting with beauty shoots. Additionally, they worked as a Public Relations representative at the 2013 Dubai Boat Show for Greenline Yacht Interiors in March 2013, where they promoted and sold design services. Earlier in their career, they worked as Front of House Staff at Cathay Cinema from June 2011 to November 2012 and in administration and child care roles at Leighton Hospital in March 2009.
Halina Myers has a diverse education history. In 2007, they attended Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School and obtained their GCSE's. Halina then attended Nightschool at Middlewich Highschool in 2010, where they earned a NOCN Level 2 certification in Spanish. In 2011 and 2012, they attended Kerikeri High School and completed their NCEA (A Level equivalent).
Halina continued their education at King's College London from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, as well as an Associateship of King's College in Theology & Ethics. In 2016, they also completed a TEFL certification at the TEFL Academy, specializing in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor.
Finally, in 2018, Halina attended the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and obtained a certification in Business Sustainability Management.
