Leo Chan has extensive experience in the field of science and technology, currently serving as Associate Director of the Science & Technology Advisory Team at 10x Genomics since March 2017, having progressed through various managerial positions within the same team. Prior to this, Leo Chan worked at WaferGen Biosystems from December 2013 to March 2017, contributing as an ICELL8 Global Field Applications Scientist and in senior technical support roles. Leo Chan's career began at the Joint Genome Institute as a Senior Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow from November 2011 to December 2013, following postdoctoral research at The University of Georgia from January 2009 to October 2011. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Marine Biosciences from the University of Delaware and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.
