Michelle Gursky has a strong legal background and has held various positions in the field. Michelle worked at Phenomenome Discoveries Inc. from 2006 to 2016, starting as a Legal Counsel and eventually becoming the Director of Legal Affairs. In November 2017, they joined CanniMed Therapeutics Inc. as the Director of Legal Affairs. Michelle then moved to CB3 Life Sciences Ltd. in June 2018, where they held the role of Director of Legal Affairs for a short period of time. Currently, they are the VP of Legal Affairs at ZYUS, a position they have held since June 2018.

Michelle Gursky obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree, Suma Cum Laude, from the University of Jamestown, where they studied English, History, and Political Studies from 1990 to 1994. Michelle further pursued their education at the University of Saskatchewan, where they completed their Bachelor of Laws degree, LLB, from 1995 to 1998.
