James Merrill has worked in the Information Technology field since 2011. James began their career at Mylan Pharmaceuticals as a Global Information Technology Services Support. In 2012, they moved to 3T Pro Inc. as an IT Service Manager and Senior Project Engineer, and then as a Senior Engineer and Project Lead. In 2017, they joined Paradigm Tax Group as a Senior Systems Engineer - DevOps. James then moved to Alkami Technology in 2019 as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. In the same year, they joined AccessFares as a Global Information Technology Manager and is currently working at Zyston LLC as a Director of Information Technology.

James Merrill obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems Management from Fairmont State University in 2012. James later obtained a Scrum Master Certificate from the Scrum Alliance in June 2017.
