Samuel Lawn is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in in vivo biology and pharmacokinetics, currently serving as Principal Scientist and Group Lead at Zymeworks Inc. since May 2017. Previous roles at Zymeworks include Senior Scientist and Group Lead as well as Senior Scientist in Pharmacology. Prior experience includes a position as Research Associate at Vancouver Prostate Centre from 2015 to April 2017 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Calgary from 2009 to 2015. Samuel Lawn holds a PhD in Cancer Research from the University of Glasgow (2004-2008) and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology from The University of Manchester (1997-2001).
