Karen Eppel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Karen currently holds the position of Head of Operations at Zyft since February 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an Operations Manager at Waller Services, starting in February 2019. From March 2019 to May 2020, they served as a Project Manager at Waller Hub.

Before their recent roles, Karen worked at iSelect from 2014 to 2019, where they held various positions including Facilities and Office Manager, Executive Assistant to the Executive Director/Chairman, and Facilities Coordinator.

Karen also has experience working as a Freelance Copywriter from 2005 to 2015, handling a range of writing projects in areas such as corporate, marketing and events, and scientific writing.

Karen was the Co-Founder/Manager of Eppelation Wine Education from 2010 to 2014, where they managed administrative tasks, developed teaching materials, and maintained website and social media content.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Cakebread Cellars as an Executive Assistant, Green Program Coordinator, and Special Projects and Events Coordinator from 2006 to 2009. Karen also served as the Corporate Administration Manager at iSelect from 2000 to 2005.

Karen'searlier experience includes working as an Executive Assistant at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Vic) from 1996 to 1999, and as a Retail Sales and Manager at Magic Needle from 1987 to 1991.

Karen Eppel attended Loreto College Ballarat for an unspecified period of time. Karen then pursued their Bachelor's Degree at Monash University, where they studied Physiology and Biochemistry. Following this, they continued their education at Monash University and obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS degree specializing in Biochemistry and Physiology. Later, Karen Eppel pursued post-graduate studies in Physiology at the University of Melbourne.
