Vice President, Global Service & Support at ZutaCore

Joseph S. has a long and successful career in global service and support. Joseph began their career in 2005 as Director of Global Support & Services at NetApp, where they were responsible for post-sales support delivery for a NetApp internal start-up Business Unit focusing on the SMB segment. During this time, they conceptualized and launched the global Support and Warranty Services delivery strategy featuring an outsourced Technical Support operations team that resolved 80%+ of cases on first contact, led the implementation of a Siebel CRM and Entitlement system, and oversaw requirements and delivery of user documentation and staff/supplier training materials. In 2018, Joseph moved to Juniper Networks as Senior Director of Global Support Delivery, where they were responsible for a $200M budget, 400 warehouses in 100 countries, 64,000 annual SLA-based dispatches, spare parts planning, inventory management, and supplier management. During their time at Juniper, Joseph transformed a struggling support organization that was hindering sales processes and hurting customer satisfaction by building strong relationships between account teams and customers and launching tactical initiatives that drove quality, cost reduction, and communication. Joseph also reduced spend by $25M by renegotiating 3PL and other supplier contracts. In 2019, Joseph joined Astreya Partners (at Google) as Senior Director of Global Support Delivery, where they were responsible for global operations of Managed Services to Google, supporting over 100+ global HW product programs, 160+ stakeholders, 1000's of users and testers, 300+ global employees, and ~$40M P&L. During this time, they transformed the organizational culture and actions to focus on customer success and quality of services. Currently, Joseph serves as Vice President of Global Service & Support at ZutaCore.
