Thomas Wüthrich serves as the CEO of Zürich Tourism since January 2022, bringing extensive experience from a twenty-year career at MCI, a leading global event and congress management company, where Wüthrich held the role of Managing Director from January 2002 to December 2021. Starting as a Project Manager in Zurich, Wüthrich advanced to Managing Director positions across various regions, including the Nordic Countries and Germany. Wüthrich’s professional journey began at Swissair Transport Co Limited, working in Incoming & Marketing Services after serving as a flight attendant from 1995 to 1998. Educational qualifications include an Eidg.dipl. in Marketing Planning from SAWI and a diploma in Marketing & Management in Tourism from HFT Luzern AG.
