Chris Bendl is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Country Chairman and CEO for Zurich Insurance in Indonesia since August 2017, alongside their role as President Commissioner for Zurich Asuransi Indonesia since December 2019. As Principal of Rinjani Capital Advisors since May 2016, Chris focuses on investment and development opportunities in Indonesia's non-bank financial services and fintech sectors. Previously, Chris held leadership positions at Manulife Indonesia from 2010 to 2016, where responsibilities included CEO and President Director, overseeing the third-largest Manulife operation in Asia. Additional experiences include significant roles at AIG and Manulife Financial, where Chris was instrumental in establishing and scaling operations. Chris Bendl holds an MBA in Finance and Taxation from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from The University of British Columbia. Chris has been a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors since 2019.
