Amy Konary has extensive work experience in the field of subscription-based business models and consulting. Amy is currently working at Zuora as the SVP of Subscribed Institute & Market Strategy, where they set the strategic direction for the institute, leads research and event agenda, and develops data-rich analyses for members. Amy is also the Founder and Chair of The Subscribed Institute, a think tank focused on the challenges and opportunities of the Subscription Economy.
Before joining Zuora, Konary held various roles at IDC, including Program Vice President of Digital Business Models, where they advised clients on business model transformation and software deployment trends. Amy also served as the Vice President of Research, focusing on software pricing and licensing. Additionally, they worked as a Director of Software as a Service and SP&L practice at IDC.
Konary is also involved in academia, as a guest lecturer at London Business School and Harvard Business School. Amy specializes in topics related to subscription pricing, innovation in the subscription economy, and as-a-Service business models.
Prior to their roles at IDC, Konary worked in marketing communications at Infinium Software.
Amy Konary attended Lehigh University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Amy'sfield of study revolved around Science Writing and Environmental Science.
