Itay Kruk is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as Principal Product at Zscaler since March 2023 following the acquisition of AppTotal. Prior to this role, Itay was a member of the founding team at Canonic Security, contributing to product development and go-to-market strategies since February 2021 until its acquisition by Zscaler. Itay's experience also includes serving as Threat Hunting Manager at Sygnia, where leadership of a threat hunting and incident response team was a core responsibility, alongside a tenure as Sr. Incident Response, conducting global incident response engagements. Earlier roles included Security Researcher at Cyberhat, specializing in forensic investigations, and Digital Forensics Examiner in the Israel Defense Forces, where expertise in forensic acquisition and advanced tools was developed. Education includes training from the Israel Defense Forces and courses in Offensive Security.
