Claudionor Coelho Jr is a prominent figure in the field of artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Chief AI Officer at Zscaler since October 2023. With extensive academic involvement as an Invited Professor for Machine Learning and Deep Learning at Santa Clara University since January 2019, Claudionor has held several notable positions, including Chief AI Officer and SVP of Engineering at Advantest from September 2022 to October 2023, and VP/Fellow of AI and Head of AI Labs at Palo Alto Networks from August 2020 to September 2022. Claudionor co-founded Kunumi and was engaged in machine learning research and development at Google. Academic contributions were made as an Associate Professor at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais for over two decades. Claudionor holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from Stanford University, and additional degrees including an MBA from Ibmec, an MSc from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
