Nestor Melo is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as Software Engineering Manager at ZPE Systems since January 2014, after holding positions as Senior Software Architect and Senior Software Engineer. Previous experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at Emerson Network Power, where Nestor contributed to the development of a Data Center Infrastructure Management application and deployment on Joyent's SmartOS. At Avocent, significant contributions included adding IPv6 support and obtaining certification for appliances. Nestor's early career involved software engineering at Cyclades, network administration at NEPAM-UNICAMP, and systems programming at CEPETRO-UNICAMP, where foundational skills in embedded systems and network management were developed. Nestor holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
