Naotoshi Seo's work experience can be summarized as follows:

- 2009-2012: At Ricoh IT Solutions / RICOH, worked as an embedded and web application engineer, creating a scanner driver for macOS and a cloud platform API server with Objective-C/Cocoa and Ruby on Rails, respectively.

- 2012-2018: At DeNA, served as a web, data, and AI infrastructure engineer/architect/team lead, developing various tools and systems using Java and Ruby (on Rails) to provide a reliable web app on the mobage game platform and an in-house data analytics platform.

- 2017-2018: As a visiting engineer at Preferred Networks, Inc., focused on deep learning framework development, specifically contributing to the development of ChainerX, a C++ implementation of automatic differentiation for N-dimensional arrays.
