Emma Nelson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare advocacy and operations. Currently serving as the Director of Operations & Advocacy at the Zorya Foundation since May 2022, Emma focuses on creating opportunities for women in the healthcare sector through various initiatives. At the Medical College of Wisconsin, Emma has worked as an HIV Linkage to Care Specialist since May 2013, providing case management and care coordination for priority HIV+ populations. Additionally, as a Member of the Board of Directors for BESTD Clinic, Emma contributes to strategic planning and quality measures while also assisting directly within the clinic. Emma's earlier role as a Medical Case Manager at the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin saw dedicated support and education for patients living with HIV, underscoring a commitment to social welfare and health equity exemplified in Emma's academic background in Social Welfare & Justice and Political Science from Marquette University.
