J. Kumar is the Senior Vice President of Customer Services for Zortag, Inc. He has 28+ years experience with Bell Labs in software development, testing, project management and customer service. Throughout his career, he has been rated very highly for his performance and has been consistently recognized by Bell Labs through commendations, prizes and awards. He has worked in both the US and Europe, and has also advised Lucent's India operations. He is a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff, an honor reserved for less than 2% of the technical workforce at Bell Labs.

Delivering top-level performance in every technical project is his specialty and he thrives in a diverse and fast-paced environment. He has accrued a multitude of skills including leading/managing virtual teams, project management in a global environment, technical development, testing, customer care, motivating teams and general management. His solid experience in R&D environment enables him to lead any team. Throughout his career he has demonstrated tremendous ability to exceed customer satisfaction.

He holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati.
