Aditya Tammewar is currently the Senior Firmware Engineer at Zoox. He is an experienced engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the wireless industry. He is skilled in LaTeX, Matlab, Linux, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
He was previously the Software Development Engineer at Amazon Lab126, where he helped develop the firmware platform infrastructure that enabled multiple Amazon products to build and ship FreeRTOS-based Iot and cloud-connected devices. He also worked on multiple IoT connected devices in a wide range of capacities, and directly interfaced with vendors to build up, fix, and maintain SDK support.
At Amazon, he built multiple system-critical modules (NOR Flash-based Key-Value Storage, System Health Monitor built on top of HW Watchdog, etc.) and helped to drive and implement a Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) to create a unified set of interfaces across multiple vendor SDKs for products to take advantage of without the usual stress of platform bringup.
As an Engineer at Qualcomm, he took responsibility for top-level firmware design and implementation involving laying groundwork for inter-layer communication and message processing while handling firmware simulation and preliminary hardware testing in inter-layer testing efforts with Microkernel and Software teams.
Aditya was in charge of the development and maintenance of various different tools and automation to optimize and streamline our test and release process and worked with a team of modem firmware developers, system engineers, and test teams to integrate and release firmware components. He was also responsible for the integration of physical layer modem technology modules and other common / shared firmware components into a single binary or library deliverable to be integrated into commercial target software.
Aditya completed his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and his Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside.
