Fredrik Hørtvedt worked as a Lead Software Developer at Zoopit AS starting in October 2015. Prior to that, they worked at FMC Kongsberg Subsea as a Software Developer and Tech Lead from June 2011 to October 2015. During their time at FMC Kongsberg Subsea, they worked with C#, .NET, Silverlight, XAML, Java, and Powershell.

Fredrik Hørtvedt obtained their Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Gjøvik University College (HiG) from 2008 to 2011. Fredrik'sfield of study focused on Computer Software. In addition to their degree, they also acquired various certifications throughout their education. This includes the Fall Protection F1 certification from Kran og Industi Service (KIS) in March 2015, the Forklift type T1 and T4 certifications from Sentralregisteret for Sikkerhetsopplæring (SFS) in May 2008, and the Basic Safety and Emergency Training certification from Falck Nutec AS in November 2014.
