Deann Crawford has extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as Accounting Manager at the Zoological Society of Milwaukee since July 2009. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the accounting department, maintaining financial reports for two entities, managing monthly and year-end financial close processes, and leading the annual financial audit. Deann has a background as a Staff Accountant, managing journal entries, financial reporting for board meetings, and payroll activities. Prior to this role, experience at the same organization included positions as Volunteer Services/Finance Assistant and Data Entry Assistant. Deann is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Wisconsin School of Business, following an Associate's degree in Accounting from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
