David Hopp has been working in the education and business sectors since 2009. In that year, they began as a Community Outreach Office Student Leader at the University of Scranton. In 2012, they joined Teach for America as a 2012 Corps Member, and also began working as a New Teacher Mentor and Biology Teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools. In 2018, they joined Centennial Protection Group as Director of Business Development, Sysco as a Marketing Associate, and Baltimore City Public Schools as a Science ESOL Teacher. In 2019, they joined Allovue as a Business Development Manager and Business Development Specialist. In 2020, they became Director of School Accounts and K-12 Account Executive at Zoobean.
David Hopp began their educational journey in 2001 at Loyola Blakefield. David attended the school until 2008, when they graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Nutrition. Following this, they attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Education in Secondary Education. In June 2019, they obtained an Advanced Professional Certificate in Biology and ESOL from the Maryland State Department of Education.
