Travis Carter is an experienced education professional currently serving as the Education Program Manager at Zoo New England since May 2022. As co-founder and host of Trav's Travels since January 2014, a web series focused on environmental education for children, Travis travels to various conservation efforts to promote awareness about wildlife. Previous roles include teaching 8th and 6th-grade science at Up Academy Charter School of Boston from June 2017 to June 2022, and working as a Support and Outreach Coordinator at Press Foundry. Early career experiences include serving as a Business Expert at Apple and engaging in marketing activities for the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master's degree in Conservation Biology from Boston University and Miami University, respectively, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from Miami University.
