Karalynn Gau has extensive work experience in various roles related to research, institutional effectiveness, and student development. Most recently, they are the Director of College Success at ZogoTech since June 2022. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design as the Executive Director of Institutional Research, Effectiveness, and Planning. Prior to that, they were involved in multiple roles at Bunker Hill Community College from 2011 to 2018, including Director of Research Strategy & Applied Analytics and Associate Director of Institutional Effectiveness. Karalynn also worked at the Office of Student Activities at Stonehill College in 2010, where they were responsible for managing Br. Mike's Pub and serving as a Community Standards Assistant. In 2010, they held interim positions at Babson College as the Peer Tutor Program Coordinator and Residential Education & NEASC Accreditation Assistant. From 2009 to 2010, they worked in various roles at Babson College's Office of Student Affairs, including Community Standards Graduate Assistant. Karalynn also worked at Babson College's Academic Services and Office of Campus Life as a Learning Enhancement Initiative Project Graduate Assistant and Student Activities/Greek Life Graduate Assistant, respectively, in 2009 and 2010. Furthermore, they gained experience as an Assistant Resident Director at the Office of Student Development at the University of California Berkeley in 2009. Finally, they served as an Operations Coordinator Graduate Assistant at Northeastern University's Student Center Operations from 2008 to 2009.
Karalynn Gau completed their education in a chronological manner. Karalynn first pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations, with a minor in Business Administration, from Boston University. This was achieved between the years 2004 to 2008. Subsequently, they attended Northeastern University from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Applied Educational Psychology, with a focus on College Student Development and Counseling. Lastly, in 2010-2011, Karalynn Gau attended Florida State University for a Graduate Certificate in Institutional Research.
