Fernando Di Croce is a seasoned professional in livestock genetics and precision animal health, currently serving as Director of Livestock Genetics and Precision Animal Health Research & Development at Zoetis since October 2012. With expertise in genetic and genomic testing services, Fernando leads a global team focused on commercial adoption and customer retention of these technologies. Previous roles include Director of Precision Animal Health Technical Services and Senior Geneticist/Veterinarian within the USDA Dairy Vet Ops Team. Before Zoetis, Fernando worked as a Senior Scientist at Pfizer and conducted research focused on genetic traits at the University of Tennessee. Fernando holds a Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology/Genomics from the University of Tennessee and a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, where Fernando also served as Department Head in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
