Hui (Grace) Xu has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. Hui (Grace) began their career as a Marketing Intern at China Mobile International Limited, where they created and executed a customer development program, including conducting market research, designing marketing posters, and creating customer acquisition strategies. Hui (Grace) then moved to HIGH HOPE INTERNATIONAL GROUP as a Business Development Intern, where they were in charge of drafting export contracts, commercial invoices, and customs declarations for customer orders. During this time, they also negotiated with key clients and achieved a 100% re-order rate over a three-month period. In 2006, they joined Kraft Foods as a Senior Marketing Representative. In 2012, they began working for the University of Illinois Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership as a Market Research Intern. Hui (Grace) also worked for the Global Business Consulting Program as a Consultant, where they strategically explored the potential US market for a General Aviation engine manufacturer in South Africa and recommended a feasible market penetration and development strategy for the client. In the same year, they worked for the Product Innovation Research Laboratory as a Team Leader - Marketing and Marketing Research and for UIUC Business Career Service - Corporate Engagement as a Graduate Assistant - Analyst. Finally, they joined Zmodo Technology Corporation, Ltd. as a Vice President of Retail Sales and Channel Manager.
Hui (Grace) Xu obtained their MBA from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2013, with a major in Finance/Marketing and a minor in IT. Hui (Grace) obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Economics - International Economy and Trade from Nanjing Normal University in 2007.
