Stéphane Suisse

Co-Founder, Head of Artificial Intelligence at Ziwig

Stéphane Suisse has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In 1999, they started working as a Computer Scientist at inexware until 2002. Stéphane then joined Sysdeo as a Senior Computer Scientist from 2002 to 2005. From 2005 to 2008, Stéphane worked as a Computer Scientist Team Leader at Sanofi before transitioning to a CRM Team Leader role from 2008 to 2011, where they were responsible for the CRM solution for the commercial operations in various regions. Stéphane then became a Lead Data Scientist at Sanofi from 2009 to 2013 and again from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a Lead Data Scientist until 2018. In the same year, Stéphane became the Co-Founder and Head of Artificial Intelligence at Ziwig Biotech. Additionally, they co-founded Star5.ai in 2018, where they held the position of Co-Founder and VP Technology Innovation until 2020.

Stéphane Suisse completed their Master's degree in Physics from the Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) from 1991 to 1996. From 1996 to 1997, they attended the Military School Officers, where they focused on software engineering. Stéphane then pursued further studies at the University of Montpellier from 1997 to 1999 and obtained an Agregation degree in Physics.

In addition to their formal education, Stéphane also obtained several certifications in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Stéphane completed the Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree and Specializations program from Udacity in June 2018. In February 2018, they completed the Stanford University-Sequence Models course from Coursera. Stéphane also obtained certifications in Deep Learning Specialization, Probabilistic Graphical Models 1: Representation, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Machine Learning, and Big Data Analysis with Scala and Spark from Stanford University and Coursera between 2017 and 2018.
