Laurentiu Cazalbasu has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Laurentiu started their career as an intern at eMAG in 2016, where they gained experience in web and mobile platforms. Laurentiu then joined Crystal System as a Java Developer in 2015 for a brief period. After that, they worked at Under Development Office as an Android Developer from 2016 to 2019. Cazalbasu then joined Cubic Agency as an Android Developer from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, they joined Freshful by eMAG as a Senior Android Developer, where they worked until July 2022. Currently, Cazalbasu holds the position of Lead Software Engineer and Solution Architect at Zitec, starting in November 2022.

Laurentiu Cazalbasu earned a Master's degree in Economic Informatics from the Academia de Studii Economice din București from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they studied at the same institution from 2013 to 2016, specializing in Cybernetics, Statistics, and Economic Informatics. Laurentiu also received a high school diploma in Economics from Colegiul Economic Virgil Madgearu from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Google Developer Challenge Scholarship from Udacity in 2017, and Database Programming with PL/SQL and Database Design and Programming with SQL from Oracle Academy in 2015.
